Baby had a shower on October 8th given by Grandma Marilyn and my friends Brandi and Alison. It was a great party with friends, family and food!
The shower was at my house since the living room was just the right size once the furniture was rearranged. Grandma Marilyn, Susan, Mike, and Aunt Janet helped set everything up and make sure that the house was clean and the food was ready. Baby's cake was made of pink and blue cupcakes with little baby bottles on top. Brandi made centerpieces for the tables out of diapers, wash cloths and pacifiers...they were incredibly cute...and will be very useful I am sure! Alison was the game organizer with little helper Cole. Everyone got to try to think like mommy, figure out what was in the baby food jars and play the Price Is Right.
Baby received many very useful and thoughful gifts. Most of the pictures of me opening them aren't too flattering (I have my eyes half closed or am making a funny face.) But there are a few that I'll allow you all to see :-)
Baby and I thank everyone that was able to attend and those who sent their best wishes for baby and I.
