The Blizzard of 2008

Sorry the pictures are a bit late. I tried twice to upload them Sunday but Blogger kept giving me an error message. This was my first opportunity since then. According to the newspaper we got 14.5 inches of snow in about 24hours. I think we got a little more than that...maybe 16 inches, but who knows for sure.


Here is Raven out on the Deck. She is standing and the snow is all the way up to her belly!

Here is Raven in the front yard. The snow plow finally came through the neighborhood Saturday afternoon...you can sort of see the road in front of the mailbox.

Here is Aila showing off how much snow we had. This was taken Saturday morning. We got a few more inches of snow after we took this picture. At the end, the snow covered up the first row of panes on the sliding door.

Aila really wanted to go outside and help Daddy clear the driveway. But once I got her bundled up and ready, all she wanted to do was go back inside. We took her for a quick spin on the snowy driveway and then took her back in.

The cardinals really appreciated the bird seed in the feeder during the storm.
