Time is Flying!

I can't believe that I am 25 weeks pregnant already! The time is seriously flying by way too fast this time! Baby is incredibly active...even more than Aila who I swore was quite the mover. I don't think this one sleeps at all. Is it possible to be hyper active in utero?? :-)

I went to the doctor yesterday. I gained 7 lbs in the last 5 weeks bringing me to a total of 13lbs so far. I'm basically doing what I did with Aila...hardly any weight gain in the beginning...actually losing a few pounds at first and then about half way through starting to add on the pounds. I've really popped out a little baby belly in the last 5 weeks. The doctor was also listening to baby's heartbeat and asked if it was a girl out of curiosity (we have all our ultrasounds done at the hospital and not in the doctor's office, so my doctor doesn't know what baby's gender is either). That made Josh wish that we had found out what we're having. He's really hoping for a boy...I think he's afraid of being out numbered. Even the dog is a girl.

Aila has started sleeping in her twin bed. She started sleeping in it about a month ago and has never looked back. I have a few pictures but I haven't taken the time to download them yet. Her new room is ladybugs. The "old" room will be baby's nursery. I was really surprised at how quickly Aila took to her new room and her new bed. I thought it would be a slow difficult process therefore I started her out well before Baby was to arrive. Aila has a bed rail and the bed is pushed against one wall so the only place she can fall out is the bottom of the bed. She moves around a lot when she sleeps. She has fallen out a couple times even though I put pillows on the floor to cushion her fall, but that hasn't seemed to phase her. She still wants in her "bug" bed.

Aila is working on learning about the potty. This one will be a long drawn out process. She knows when she has to go and usually tells us right before or right after. We're working on it slowly. For now we're happy that she's interested in the potty and will sit on it and read her potty book for a little bit at a time.

I'll try to get the pictures posted soon but no promises. I can't believe how hectic things are lately. Today I scrambled around at work to book a conference in Vermont that's only 2 weeks away. I'm looking forward to it though and a few days away from home up by Lake Champlain.
