One Month Update

I haven't had a chance to update very often in the last month. Liam is 1 month old today!! He is eating about every 2-2.5 hours around the clock. He usually (lets stress usually) gives me one 3 hour nap in the middle of the day and is usually good for one other 3 hour stretch at night. He has put on weight well since we came home from the hospital. I took him for a weight check when he was 3 weeks old. He had put on 2lbs 8oz since leaving the hospital. He is a bottomless pit! I'm getting better at handling both Aila and Liam but it is still quite a handful for me. We had lots of visitors in the last month. Grammy, Cousin Austin and Aunt Kristin came and stayed with us for a few days, cousins Susan and Mike from Anderson, Indiana came for a few days, and Great Aunt Janet is here right now for a week. Thats not to mention all the neighbors and friends who have also stopped by. Its been really busy.

Aila loves her boots. She put them on all by herself. She also put her slippers on her hands as "mittens". She is facinated with mittens. She puts socks or slippers on her hands all the time and calls them mittens. She does have an actual pair of mittens too, but I try to keep those in her coat so that I know where they are.


When Liam is not eating, I try to catch a nap.

Aila has been trying to help me keep the house tidy. She put on Daddy's socks and her pink shoes all by herself.
